PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and inexpensive recording device in which a card storing part for storing a memory card is arranged without losing a degree of freedom of layout of operation keys and a display part in the recording device to which the memory card is detachable. SOLUTION: The recording device has the display part 11 for displaying information, the card storing part 40 for storing the memory card, and a card slot connector 42 for transmitting information of the memory card stored in the storing part 40 to the side of a device body.
