PURPOSE: A vehicle hood latch apparatus is provided to reduce fabrication cost by minimizing the number of components constituting the hood latch apparatus and to perform an assembly and repair word rapidly. CONSTITUTION: A striker(1a) installed on a hood(1) is fixed to a fixing groove(2a) which is formed on a base plate(2) fixed to a vehicle body. A support plate(3) is installed in front of the base plate and has a guide groove(3a). A latch(4) is installed between the base plate and the support plate by a spring(5) and has a protrusion(4a) fixing the striker. A pole(6) is installed between the base plate and the support plate to fix the latch. A safety hook(8) is installed on a back of the base plate and has a protrusion(8b) and a handle(8a). And the second spring(7) is installed between the safety hook and the pole. |
