<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission apparatus which does not cause the duplication of transmission timing between a plurality of nodes, prevents the deterioration of a signal recognition property, is superior in reliability, and can obtain high speed and stable optical transmission. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical transmission apparatus which optically connects a plurality of nodes 4 through an optical transmission route 3, an optical signal encoded so that the mixing ratio of "1" and "0", constituting the data approaches to 50%, is transmitted by the optical transmission route 3. When no optical signal is outputted from any of the nodes 4, a dummy signal which is an AC-like (alternating current) signal is inputted to the optical transmission route 3. By this means, a photoelectric portion can always be set as an active status, and can prevent the deterioration of the signal recognition property. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
