<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the drawback that the operation of a timer becomes unstable and an operation frequency for forming an operation frequency becomes unstable, resulting in failure of a module 2 in a worst case. <P>SOLUTION: In an electronic device consisting of a plurality of modules each having a different operation frequency, a module 2 synchronizes with a module 1 by using a transmission path with respect to the module 2 having a different operation frequency from that of the module 1. In this device, the operation frequency of the module 2 can be arbitrarily reset by using a synchronization signal of the module 1 as a trigger. When a trigger is not inputted from the outside, the synchronization signal is monitored at a predetermined period with a self-operable timer device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
