<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and certainly increase a boost pressure of air supplied from a turbocharger, in relation to a supercharging device of a four-cycle engine, which further pressurizes the air supplied from the turbocharger after cooled in an intercooler and supplies the air to an intake manifold. <P>SOLUTION: This device is equipped with an intake port and a discharge port that are formed in a crankcase of the four-cycle engine, a first conduit for guiding the air supplied from the turbocharger after cooled in the intercooler to the intake port in the crankcase, an second conduit for guiding the compressed air in the crankcase from the discharge port of the crankcase to the intake manifold, an intake side check valve that is positioned on the intake port of the crankcase to prevent backflow to the first conduit side, and a discharge side check valve that is positioned on the discharge port of the crankcase to prevent backflow to the crankcase side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
