摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a hydrodynamic bearing device for accurately and easily manufacturing the hydrodynamic bearing device at a low cost, and to provide an assembling tool. <P>SOLUTION: In manufacturing the hydrodynamic bearing device, a first annular member 32 or a second annular member 33 is rigidly bonded to a rotating shaft member 31 while being pressed in the state of holding metallic foil 65 between the first and second annular members 32, 33. The metallic foil 65 is then drawn out to form a clearance of a thrust bearing part. In applying pressure, an elastic member (such as an O-ring which is a closed annular elastic member) disposed on the outer peripheral side of the rotating shaft member 31 or its extended position in a state of surrounding the rotating shaft member 31 or its extended position is used as the assembling tool to apply uniform pressure to a surface to be pressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p>
