<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction in a transmission throughput caused by the increase in the number of transmission / reception ports, increase in a packet transmission rate, and a complicated transmission protocol or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A packet analysis means 1 analyzes the header of a received packet and outputs packet information onto a receiver side bus 10a, and a packet information control means 6 controls transfer of the packet information on the receiver side bus, stores the packet information to a main storage means 7, and stores a copy of the stored information to a sub storage means 8 provided in common to a plurality of header generating means 4.
