PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rigorously discriminate the determination on the fall near the entrance to a room from the determination on the leave from the room, at improved accuracy, and to prevent the erroneous detection of a human body detector. SOLUTION: When the closing of a door is detected and when the human body is detected by the human body detection sensor, the detection mode of the human body detection sensor is changed into the mode in which the objective region of the human body detection sensor is changed by changing the detection area of the human body detection sensor.
