<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the heat radiation efficiency of a heatsink and to facilitate the assembling work. <P>SOLUTION: The control unit has a box-shape case 37 with an opening in its ceiling, a printed board 43 whereon a heat-producing high-power component 41 is mounted, a heatsink 57 comprising a main plate 59 thermally coupled with the high-power component 41 and a fin section 61 protruding from the main plate 59, a potting material 55 injected into a blocking plate 47, and a pressing member for pressing the heatsink 57 to a slit-provided side wall 53. The use of a constitution wherein the fin section 61 is exposed out of a slit 51 formed in the slit-provided side wall 53 prevents the outflow of the potting material 55, avoids heat radiation efficiency reduction due to heat confined in the case 37, and makes the assembling work easier. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
