<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vortex barrel polishing system which ensures the high operation rate of a polishing device, and continuously polishes various types and a plurality of process steps. <P>SOLUTION: A vortex barrel polishing system comprises: a vortex barrel polishing device 10 that houses a mass consisting of a workpiece and a polishing material and polishes the workpiece; a mass casting device 50 that throws the mass to the vortex barrel polishing device 10; a sorting device 30 that selects the workpiece and the polishing material from the mass discharged from the vortex barrel polishing device 10; and a bucket storage shelf 70 for storing a plurality of buckets 4 that houses the workpiece or the polishing material. The system further comprises an infusion position of the workpiece or the polishing material to the mass casting device 50; a discharge position of the workpiece or the polishing material sorted by the sorting device 30; and a carriage mechanism (80, 90, 100, 110) that carries the bucket 4 to the bucket storage shelf 70. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
