PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording element having highly reliable images without deteriorating recorded image even under enviroment requiring both characteristics of light hiding properties and light transparent properties and being high temperature like an automobile instrument panel, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The image recording element is formed by laminating a plurality of toner layers by an electrophotographic system on the surface of a substrate having at least transparency, and by fixing the plurality of the toner layers to form the fixed images, thence by laminating toner layers with a laminating film provided with an adhesive layer on one side so as to superpose the adhesive layer on the fixed image. The image recording element is formed with the adhesive layer by coating the adhesive layer in such a manner that the surface of the adhesive is formed to irregular shapes. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
