PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a charging means from getting dirty with a toner dropping from a developing means provided above the charging means, with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: In a multi-color image forming device where at least two charging means and at least two developing means are arranged around an image carrier (1) and a certain charging means (4) is arranged just below the certain developing means (3), the certain charging means is more spaced from the image carrier than a perpendicular line from a front end on the image carrier side of a lower case (3a) of the developing means arranged just below the certain charging means.
