PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor having a reed valve type inflow side one-way valve of a relatively simple constitution. SOLUTION: This compressor is provided with a cylinder body 51 having a cylinder space 50a of a cylindrical form, a cylinder head 52 installed to cover the cylinder space, a piston 53 engaged and disposed in the cylinder space, and an intake reed valve 64 to cover an intake hole 52a to be capable of opening and closing it. The intake reed valve is composed by forming a valve plate held between mutually facing surfaces of the cylinder body and the cylinder head into a tongue-like form extended from a support base part positioned on the outer circumferential side inward diametrically to overhang. When the valve plate is held by the cylinder body and the cylinder head, the reed valve covers the intake hole, and the intake hole is opened as the reed valve is elastically deformed into the cylinder space around the support base part by negative pressure in the cylinder space. A stopper surface 51b to prevent excessive elastic deformation of the intake reed valve is provided in a circumferential edge part of the cylinder space in the cylinder body. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
