PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection control method for an internal combustion engine capable of improving the startability of the engine and stabilizing the idle speed thereof after starting. SOLUTION: This fuel injection control device comprises an engine temperature sensor 2 and an intake air temperature sensor 3 to detect an engine temperature and an intake air temperature in the starting of the engine. A start control correction factor indicating a larger value as the engine temperature is lower and the intake air temperature is lower and indicating a larger value as a difference between the engine temperature and the intake air temperature is smaller is calculated relative to the engine temperature and the intake air temperature. By using the start control correction factor, an initial injection time, the initial value of the warmup incremental correction factor, and a warmup control time are corrected. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
