<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently read an image while ensuring an image quality worthy of admiration. <P>SOLUTION: The image of each frame of a photographic film 47 is read to the imaging part 49 of a film scanner 11. The read image of each frame is listed on a color monitor 12. A frame to be printed is specified by observing the listed images. The print size and print number of the frame to be printed are inputted through a keyboard 55 and a mouse 56. The resolution of the imaging part 49 is changed according the print size to obtain image data most suitable for the print size. The image data are transferred to a print finishing agent 13 with printing order data. The print finishing agent performs printing for the designated number in the designated print size based on the image data. The resulting prints are returned to a user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
