<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce thermal loss after the completion of a sterilization process for more effective drying of sterilization objects. <P>SOLUTION: The subject high-pressure sterilizer comprises a chamber 4 for receiving the sterilization objects 3, or the like, a lid 7 for closing the opening 2 of the chamber, a sterilizing heater 5 provided at the bottom of the chamber, a drying heater 23 mounted on the external circumferential surface of the chamber, and a control means 24 for controlling the electrification of the sterilizing heater, a drying heater, or the like. Further, if the sterilizer dries sterilization objects after sterilizing them by filling the chamber with high-temperature and high-pressure steam, it is constructed to have the control means so that the drying heater may be electrified a certain time before the completion of the sterilization process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
