<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ink for inkjet recording having good yellow hue and satisfiable image fastness and ejection stability as ink for inkjet recording and provide a method for inkjet recording. <P>SOLUTION: The ink for inkjet recording contains a dye having a λmax of the spectral absorption of 390-470 nm in aqueous solution, the maximum spectral wavelength λmax of the reflection density of the colored image area is 390-470 nm, and the ratio of the spectral reflection density I(λmax +70 nm) corresponding to the spectral wavelength of λmax +70 nm to the spectral reflection density I(λmax) corresponding to λmax is ≤0.4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
