<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide XPG-mutated mice which have different critical degrees and are useful for clarifying the molecular condition of a genetic disease caused by the mutation of a G group xeroderma pigmentosum (XPG), and analyzing the relation of XPG to an expression type at an individual level. <P>SOLUTION: This non-human model animal has an XPG-mutated gene in which one or more codons corresponding to codons specifying the amino acids of 1 to 100 or 760 to 860 in a mouse of XPG have been subjected to a missense mutation or a nonsense mutation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
