PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly, accurately perform adjustment by providing a plurality of timing adjustment circuits to a signal to be transmitted even if transmission timing is precisely adjusted in a signal transmission system. SOLUTION: Slave nodes 4, 5 adjust the transmission timing by first and second timing adjustment sections 420, 422. Delay q(m) at the second timing adjustment section 422 set once is stored at a RAM 386 and FLASH_ROM 402, thus quickly performing accurate timing adjustment in either case when the signal transmission system 1 carries out specific operation or when a power supply is turned on. Additionally, in a signal transmission line including a plurality of channels, adjustment is made by using a signal transmitted by all channels, thus accurately adjusting the timing to a sinal in which the skew between the channels occurs.
