<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home network system wherein the present status of a controlled device can easily and reliably be confirmed. <P>SOLUTION: The home network system 1 includes: a single or a plurality of controlled devices 2 fitted to or installed in a building; an indoor control terminal 3 and a remote control terminal 8 for controlling the controlled devices 2; and networks 4, 5 interconnecting the control terminals 3, 8 and the controlled devices 2.
