<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sink, excellent in heat radiating capacity and manufactured inexpensively. <P>SOLUTION: The heat sink 1 is constituted of a constitution wherein a plurality of flat sheet type fins 3, 4 are erected on a base 7 in parallel to each other with a predetermined interval while air stream is supplied by an axial flow type fan 2 toward gaps 5 between the mutual flat sheet type fins 3, 4 from the tip ends of the flat sheet type fins 3, 4, which are opposed to the base 7 of the fins. In such a heat sink 1, the mutually neighbored plurality of flat sheet type fins 3, 4 are provided with slits 6 formed on the surface of the fins and arrayed in a direction obliquely intersected with the surfaces of the flat sheet type fins. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
