PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for injection molding capable of obtaining a highly accurate molded article with less deformation (inclination of a rim or the like) while high transfer properties of a cylindrical molded article or the like provided with a gear tooth part or a flat part being a transfer part on the outer peripheral face are ensured, and an apparatus for injection molding. SOLUTION: In the method and apparatus for injection molding, a sink mark is introduced by selectively introducing a gas on a face adjoining the inner peripheral face of the rim, when the molded article in which a cylindrical rim provided with the gear tooth part or the flat part being the transfer part on the outer peripheral face, a web part and a boss are integrally formed, is molded. Inclination of the rim part of the molded article is controlled by controlling temperature condition by a temperature controlling means provided in a core insert and a cavity insert, and a gas feeding condition by a gas feeding means for introducing the gas to the face adjoining the inner peripheral face of the rim.
