PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a base member superior in the damping efficiency and mass productivity which is prevented from resonating because of the propagation of vibration of a diaphragm and of pressure variation of a liquid chamber to the base member which supports an inkjet head when the inkjet head is multi channel driven. SOLUTION: The base member 1 which satisfies both the damping efficiency and the mass productivity and which has a joining face to the head divided is formed at a low cost by stacking sheet elements 1a of a shape shown in Fig.(B) after being punched by a press, and by joining appropriate points of side faces as a welding part 13. A joining method is not limited to welding, and bonding, calking and the like are possible. The base member can be joined in a short time with a full strength. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
