<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flash photographing control method for a camera for realizing the common use of an AF sensor and a sensor for light control with inexpensive and simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: The flash photographing control method is used for the camera equipped with the AF sensor 16 receiving reflected light transmitted through a photographic lens 22 and outputting a signal, an AF control means performing focusing based on the detection signal from the sensor 16, and light emitting parts 27a and 27b radiating the light toward an object. Before normal light emission, the light emitting parts 27a and 27b are made to perform preliminary light emission several times so that emitted light quantity may differ, and normal emitted light quantity is decided by selecting one signal optimum for photography out of the signals from the sensor 16 corresponding to the reflected light by the preliminary light emission performed by each emitted light quantity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
