<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaper which has excellent wearable property upon wearing on the back, enables a user to easily movable during wearing, and is easily wearable from front and rear. <P>SOLUTION: This diaper is equipped with a draping gather and a leg gather. The ratio (W1/W2) of the smallest value W1 of the inside leg width and the whole width W2 of the diaper at a position having a fastening tape in the longitudinal direction is 0.30-0.75. A position with the smallest inside leg width is made exist within a range from the center line dividing the whole width of the diaper into two equal parts to each point 10% of the whole diaper length in both end directions in the longitudinal direction. The diaper has a virtual straight line L1 in the diaper longitudinal direction passing the middle point in the diaper longitudinal direction on the side edge in a cut-off part on both inside leg parts and a virtual straight line L2 in the diaper width direction, orthogonally crossing the straight line L1 and passing the end part Q on the side edge in the cut-off part.
