PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive transponder core for a portable transponder with high productivity. SOLUTION: A transponder core 11 to be used for the portable coil antenna is built by bonding a plate-like core 12 having concave curved surfaces 14 in four corners and bobbin-like cores 13 having core portions matching the concave curved surfaces 14.
