PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent infiltration of rainwater into an exterior wall while maintaining permeability. SOLUTION: A building exterior wall material comprises a waterproof sheet 2 set over an outer face of plywood 1, lath mesh 4 set over the waterproof sheet 2, a first wall material 3 including dry Shirasu volcanic ejecta, ordinary cement, magnesia silicate, methylcellulose and natural cellulose and closely applied to the waterproof sheet 2 with the lath mesh 4 in between, and a second wall material 7 including dry Shirasu volcanic ejecta, white cement, dolomite plaster, magnesia silicate, methylcellulose and natural cellulose and closely applied to the first wall material 3.
