PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ball collecting net material having high weather resistance, high impact resistance, low reflectivity, excellent drainage and improved ball collecting properties. SOLUTION: The ball collecting net material is a mesh sheet having a base fabric composed of a coarse knitted or woven fabric and a resin coating layer for covering at least the exposed peripheral surface of the constituent yarn of the cloth. The base fabric comprises≥15% in mass ratio of a staple fiber spun yarn, the mass ratio of the resin coating layer to the mesh sheet is 15-60% and the mesh sheet has≤10 mm mesh size and 0.1-0.7 through-hole area ratio.
