PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheetlike material having excellent color developing properties, color fastness, dimensional stability under wet conditions and physical properties from a joining type conjugated fiber favorable from environmental and equipment aspects. SOLUTION: The sheetlike material comprises an entangled nonwoven fabric composed of the joining type conjugated fiber in which a polyester and a polyamide are alternately arranged in the fiber cross section and a polymer elastic body contained in the interior thereof. The sheetlike material satisfies the following requirements (1) to (3): (1)≥7.5 carbon number per amide group in repeating units in the polyamide; (2)≥60°C glass transition temperature of the polyester and the polyamide in a dried state and≥50 but≤70°C glass transition temperature thereof in a water-wet state; and (3)≤300°C melting point of the polyamide.
