PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a call processing method for managing status information of a radio high speed data terminal according to call origination/termination when sharing a public network and a private network in a wireless high speed data system. SOLUTION: In a mobile communication system where the public network and the private network are linked, the status information of a terminal within the private network is transmitted to the public network, such that the status of a private network subscriber within a public and private shared cell region is grasped on the public network. Thus, public and private mobile communication services are speedily and smoothly provided. Further, even when performing data communications between two terminals connected to the private network, the call processing method is provided for updating the status information which changes between the two terminals to perform the data communications, such that even when a call connection is requested to one of the two terminals via the public network, transmission of an unwanted paging message is reduced to prevent an error such as occurrence of no paging response.
