PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarbonate resin composition comprising a polycarbonate and silica particles which is excellent in transparency, mechanical characteristics and flame retardancy. SOLUTION: The polycarbonate resin composition comprises 99.5-50pts.wt. of a polycarbonate and 0.5-50pts.wt. of surface-treated silica particles. The silica particle is obtained by a sol-gel method in the presence of a surface active agent and has a total light transmittance of≥90%. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
