PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a reinforcing unit for a seat cushion and a seat back afterward to the outer surface of the cushion and the seat back, secure mounting workability of a trim cover, and also secure seat performance and appearance quality. SOLUTION: The reinforcing unit 30 for the seat cushion consists of a crossbeam 31 extending along the lateral direction of the seat cushion 11 and right and left load transmission plates 34, 35 fixedly connected to beam ends 32, 33 of the crossbeam 31.
