PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provided a hot water producing device, which is improved from conventional one, capable of preventing dry firing with a simple means. SOLUTION: This hot water producing device stops power distribution to an electric heater 11 when the temperature differenceΔT between the detection temperature T1 of a heating protection temperature sensor 13 of the electric heater 11 and the detection temperature T2 of a water temperature sensor 14 of a heater 1 exceeds predetermined temperature difference.
