PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling the water discharge amount of a water tank body for admiration in which partial exchange of water in a water tank and removal of an excrement can readily be carried out without moving the water tank from a installation place, extremely excellent in an admiration property and to provide the water tank body for admiration. SOLUTION: Old water in a water tank is discharged through a hose provided at the position of the bottom of a water tank body and the water discharge amount of old water in the water tank is controlled by a water level-controlling means provided in a part of the hose while visually confirming the water amount in the water tank.
