The device for the dividing of a volume of water in a water carrying system is constructed as a pipe section (1) which on the two open ends has a diameter reduction (2) extended by short pipe sections. Two pipes are guided from the outside into the inside of the pipe section. The penetration of the two pipes is in the middle of the pipe section, both lengthwise and widthwise. One pipe (3) is angled at 90 degrees against the direction of flow and is widen into a bell shape. The other pipe (4) is angled at 90 degrees in the direction of flow and is formed into a nozzle.
