The arrangement includes encryption software operatively associated with a computer, which is adapted to encrypt and decrypt information stored on the computer. A receiver is operatively associated with the computer and is adapted to receive a signal from an emitter, which is remotely located from the receiver. The emitter is adapted to emit a signal to be received by the receiver to control the operation of the encryption software.</p>
