摘要 The device has a variable inlet valve mechanism, an electrically operated choke valve on an engine inlet pipe and an equipment that uses an inlet pipe vacuum occurring on the downstream side of the choke valve. The choke valve is normally controlled so the inlet pipe vacuum is reduced. The choke valve and variable inlet valve mechanism are controlled so the inlet pipe vacuum is increased if fuel cut-off, deceleration or idle state exists. The device has a variable inlet valve mechanism (30), an electrically operated choke valve (15) on an engine inlet pipe (12) and an equipment (50) that uses an inlet pipe vacuum occurring on the downstream side of the choke valve. A drive state assessment device (27) determines if the engine state is one of a fuel cut-off state, a deceleration state or an idle state. The choke valve is normally controlled so that the inlet pipe vacuum is reduced. The choke valve and variable inlet valve mechanism are controlled so that the inlet pipe vacuum is increased if one of these states exists.
