INTEGRATED IMAGE RECORDING METHOD FOR HEART MAGNETISM RESONANCE PERFUSION DATA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide approach for automatically segmenting the cardiac muscle, the endocardium and/or the epicardium by an MR image sequence.

SOLUTION: An object outline area is set on a first image having a plurality of pixels. A second image is received correspondingly to time other than the first image. Pixel intensity is calculated for the second image. Edge parameters are evaluated for at least one of the first and second images. A template match between the first and second images is calculated. Pairs of pixel positions are selected from at least one of the first and second images correspondingly to the template match. The evaluated parameter is recorded for the pixel pairs of the selected position of the first image and the selected position of the second image correspondingly to the calculated template match. A varied pixel position is detected correspondingly to the record.
