VIBRATION-PROOFING STRUCTURE OF CYLINDER AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS USING SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder vibration-proofing structure capable of easily attaching a dynamic damper to a cylinder and capable of corresponding to various bending modes and an image forming apparatus using the structure.

SOLUTION: In the vibration-proofing structure of the rotary cylinder 1, the dynamic damper 2 having inherent frequency capable of attenuating external vibration factor frequency 4 generated in the cylinder 1 by an external vibration factor 3 is attached to a range which is 1/4 the whole length of the cylinder 1 from the end of the body. The image forming apparatus to which the vibration-proofng structure of the cylinder 1 is applied is also provided.
