<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eahance the energy-saving effect by detecting the ringing or polarity inversion without via a modem 14 interposed in an energy-saving mode. <P>SOLUTION: A semiconductor DAA network control part 15 is composed of a circuit control part 23 connected to a circuit network and a serial IF part 25 connected to the circuit control part 23 via an input/output circuit 24 and controls the circuit network, while it transmits/receives data. A modem 14 comprises a DSP for modulating/demodulating the data to be transmitted/received, while being connected to the serial IF part 25. A system control part 1 controls them. The circuit control part 23 is provided with an energy-saving restore factor detecting part that detects an energy saving restore factor via a circuit during an energy saving state. The serial IF part 25 periodically restores to a normal state for detecting that the energy saving restore factor has been detected from the energy-saving restore factor detecting part, and reports it through the system control part 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
