<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system preventing fuel gas from leaking to the outside even if the fuel gas is discharged from a water collecting tank collecting the water discharged from a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system is equipped with a fuel system water collection tank 19 collecting water discharged from a fuel electrode of the fuel cell 1, and an air system water collection tank 13 collecting water discharged from an air electrode of the fuel cell 1. A combustion device 35, burning the fuel gas discharged from the fuel system water collection tank 19 together with air, is arranged on the downstream side of the air system water collection tank 13. Collected water is discharged by opening a fuel system water discharging valve 23 when a controller 7 determines on the discharge of water in the fuel cell system water collection tank 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
