<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary power supply device usable with a portable electronic equipment kept connected to it, by realizing a lithium ion secondary battery of a thin size and a high capacity. <P>SOLUTION: The auxiliary power supply device has a battery compartment and a connecting connector, and the battery compartment has a laminated lithium ion secondary battery with a thickness of 4 mm or less and a necessary electric circuit built in. The connecting connector has a shape according to power supply connector specifications of the portable electronic equipment to connect the auxiliary power supply device with. The battery compartment and the connecting connector are connected with a connecting mechanism including a movable mechanism with a degree of freedom of one or more.
