PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a polysulfone microporous membrane which is reduced in organic matter elution to filtrate, high in water permeable rate and excellent in hydrophilicity. SOLUTION: This microporous membrane is manufactured by casting a solution prepared by dissolving a polysulfone-based polymer and polyvinyl pyrrolidone having a 10-75 K-value in a solvent on a support and immersing the support on which the solution has been cast in a solidifying bath.
