PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear drive actuator, inexpensive, and having low dust generating performance and excellent torque life. SOLUTION: This linear drive actuator includes: a guide shaft having a ball rolling groove on the outer peripheral surface; a movable body having a ball rolling groove on the inner peripheral surface opposite to the ball rolling grove of the guide shaft to thereby form a ball rolling space; a number of balls stored in the ball rolling space to freely roll; and a ball circulating member having a ball circulating member scooping up the ball at one end of the ball rolling space and moving the ball to the other end of the ball rolling space. The device is filled with a grease composition formed by mixing perfluoropolyether as base oil with fluorine grease containing polytetrafluorethylene as a thickening agent and grease other than the fluorine grease.
