PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow panel which can effectively exert sound insulation performance while suppressing the thickness of the panel and accomplishes labor savings in panel forming work and a reduction in manufacturing cost by reducing the number of components. SOLUTION: This hollow panel 10 is formed in such a manner that a hollow part 12 is provided between almost planar outside parts 11 on obverse and reverse sides. In the hollow panel 10, a mass per unit area is made partially different, so that a sound insulation defect can be prevented from being caused by coincidence effects at a specific frequency. The hollow part 12 is set to have a plurality of kinds of widths, so that sectional areas can be made different from one another; and the mass per unit area or rigidity is made nonuniform, for example, by a difference in mutual separation distance between bulkhead parts 13 or the thicknesses of the bulkheads 13, so that the sound insulation defect can be suppressed.
