PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary door type air passage switching device capable of moderately mixing cool air and warm air when the temperature is adjusted in a face mode of a car air-conditioner. SOLUTION: The device includes a case consisting of the air passage, a rotary door section with a substantially arc shape that is connected to a rotary shaft rotated by a drive means and provided with a first opening as an air inlet and a second opening formed on a peripheral wall, and third, fourth, and fifth openings formed side by side in the radial direction of the rotary door section in the case. The rotary door section includes a guide section for guiding air blown into the rotary door section. The guide section is formed in the middle of the second opening to separate the air passage into two parts, and an opening formed on the guide section has directionality. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
