PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for exterminating flying insects, capable of incapacitating insects in low power consumption, excellent in continuous catching performance, nearly free from legislative installation limitation, being small-sized and lightweight and having high safety. SOLUTION: The flying insect-exterminating apparatus is equipped with a rotation driving part 1, a rotation part 2 carrying out rotation driving by the rotation driving part 1 and a striking piece protrusively provided in nearly centrifugal direction from the outer periphery of the rotation part 2, and strikes and exterminates flying insects by rotated striking piece 3. In the flying insect-exterminating apparatus, the rotation part 2 is formed in nearly disk-like shape and the striking piece 3 is formed of nearly string-like flexible material.
