PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite structure building and a construction method therefor, which enable a reduction in construction period, the amount of earth removal and construction costs by not only abbreviating a footing and a footing beam but also adopting a prefabricated pile as a foundation pile, in the composite structure building. SOLUTION: In the composite structure building and the construction method therefor, the composite structure building is composed of the prefabricated pile 4, a column 13 of infilled-type steel pipe reinforced concrete construction, and a beam 15 of steel construction and the like; the prefabricated pile 4 is a tubular member wherein an in-pile hole 4a is provided along an axial direction; in-pile-head infilled concrete 6, which is composed of concrete, is formed in the hole 4a of a pile head part 4d in such a manner as to be integral with the head part 4d; a jointing structure 5, which is composed of the concrete, is interposed between the head part 4d and a column base part 13c; a jointing reinforcement 11 is vertically arranged in the jointing structure 5; a lower part of the jointing reinforcement 11 is anchored into the concrete 6; and an upper part of the jointing reinforcement 11 is anchored into the base part 13c.
