AQUEOUS LEAVE-ON HAIR CONDITIONING COMPOSITIONS

An aqueous leave-on hair conditioning composition is described which includes (a) 0.01 to 10.0 % of a quaternary ammonium compound; (b) 0 to 10 % of a silicone oil; (c) 0.00001 to 0.05 % of a polyoxyethylene or polyoxypropylene; and (d) (c) 0.01 to 10 % of a non-ionic surfactant,wherein said composition is substantially free of hair holding enhancing agents and which is substantially free of cationic cellulosic resins containing tetra-substituted nitrogen moieties.
