<p>With a rotary-type powder-compressing and -forming apparatus, when the production quantity of formed products is reduced, labor is saved both in removing unnecessary upper hammers, lower hammers, and mortars, and in installing no-hole mortars. In the apparatus, a rotary table is provided in a frame so as to be horizontally rotatable through a vertical shaft. Mortars are arranged at predetermined intervals on the rotary table, and, above and below each mortar, an upper hammer and lower hammer are held so as to be slidable in a vertical direction. When the upper hammer and lower hammer are passed between an upper roller and lower roller with the tips of the hammers inserted in the mortar, powder filled in the mortar is compressed and formed. The apparatus has fixed position-holding means for holding the tip of a lower hammer, corresponding to an upper hammer whose tip is limited to be inserted into a mortar, so that the lower hammer tip end is substantially in the same plane as the upper face of the rotary table.</p> |
